Ilan Lev-Ran
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lev-Ran is the founder of CountWise, after serving as the CEO of ViewPoint Technologies, a leading manufacturer and system integrator of visual control and robotics systems. Ilan’s tenure as Vice President for Marketing & Engineering at Peek Traffic, a global manufacturer and system integrator of traffic and mobility control systems in Florida, gives him the unique insight on balancing technology and the end user’s business needs and perspective.
Ilan has acquired the distinctive track record for delivering value as perceived by the customer. The ability to combine his engineering background to be the visionary for the Company’s development team while leveraging extensive leadership to ensure every CountWise team member is focused on delivering value and excellence each and every day.
Dave Gilad
VP of Operations
Mr. Gilad has an extensive background in the leveraging of technology to drive business results. Dave has over 15 years of operations leadership, sales and marketing experience and spearheads the core of CountWise’s dedication and record in exceeding expectations. Dave’s years with Tudog Consulting as the Director of Retail Strategy brings real insight into the retail market and an understanding of needs and the ability to deliver value. Mr. Gilad’s business planning and implementation achievements for numerous retailers in the areas of management development, corporate procedures for tracking and improving KPIs, churn and isolating the processes and technologies delivering the require results allows him the ability to ensure all aspects of our customer commitment are executed with surgical precision and symphony like harmony. Mr. Ligeti has the most extensive background in the traffic counting industry after serving eleven years as the VP Sales and a founding member for another people-counting company prior to joining the CountWise management team. There is probably nobody in this industry with such a deep understanding of the business need, trials & tribulations for corporations entering this critical business arena and the various business efficiencies this tool delivers beyond improving conversion rates. Director Europoean Operations
Co-founder of RCT ShopperTrack’s European operation and ex Footfall employee, Mr. Farrell now heads CountWise’s new UK headquarters. Mr. Farrell has over 18 years of experience in the retail and retail intelligence industries, and has been entrusted with overseeing the company’s European team and growth strategy. Having worked extensively in Europe, throughout the Middle East, and Africa, he brings with him a thorough understanding of the market from a global perspective.
Chandan Chowdhury
Asia and Middle East Director
Bringing his extensive experience in people counting systems as a former International M.E. Regional Manager of a leading competitor, Mr. Chowdhury has proven to be a boon to the CountWise management team. As CountWise’s Asia & Mid-East Director, he has successfully established the concept of ‘People Counting System’ in the Retail Segment and Shopping Malls in the Middle East market. Chandan is a Science graduate of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and St. Joseph’s College of Business Administration in India, and a seasoned veteran of computer, high-tech, and security systems companies. He has been designing retail solutions for over 10 years. Jean Downing
IT Director
Mr. Downing has over 20 years experience in networking and programming and has worked in various management roles at Citibank, Johnson Controls NIS, and Florida Power & Light. As IT Director at CountWise he manages all software development and leads an IT team that manages all network integration projects with CountWise customers globally. Mr Downing has a degree in Computer Science.
